Don’t Make Cense Sunday’s: Be Who You Are

"You have to elevate and steady climb the top. You have to go down a lonely road and leave your old life to rot". – Justin A. Starks

Introduction

People will always persuade you and make you fully understand why you should follow their agenda. Every body advice isn't good advice to the known ear. I truly believe everyday we are at war with ourselves. The things we see, touch, and allow in our lives shifts our mindset and influence our behavior. Most of us become lost and don't understand that this life is only given once. We let others negativity get under our skin instead of stepping up and not letting others opinions bother us.

Take Charge

We have to take heed and understand that we are in charge of our own life. People all over the globe have to understand we are the captain of our own ship. It doesn't matter if you come from a messed up community like myself and seen the struggle first hand. You are the creator. You are the one who make your wildest dreams comes true.

Grow Yourself

Majority of us have to stop becoming apart of the majorly. It only make sense! By becoming the minority you are showing the world you are choosing your own lifestyle. You aren't bowing down to the ones who say your ideas, dreams, and decisions are stupid. This doesn't mean go and do whatever but simply follow your heart. We need more leaders who are willing to grow themselves and spread the teachings to others. We need more strong black men who are willing to explore their inner thoughts and create a world of vision, thoughts, and hope.

Conclusion

In conclusion, it's only right you be yourself. At the end of your life you will regret everything you didn't do. It's not the right idea to live life out of fair and despite. You have to dig deep and understand you are truly a warrior and a creator of life. I am a firm believer we weren't just put on this earth to pay bills and struggle. You have to elevate and steady climb the top. You have to go down a lonely road and leave your old life to rot.

Question: Do you have any regrets?

  1. Yes, plenty of regrets. Learn from the past, and plan for the future. But, remember to be fully present in the present, Do not live in the past or suffer too much anxiety about the future.
