Justin Want a Dollar

“When I see money on the stove, I could whip a bowl”. – Justin A. Starks

Money Reign

Money is the subject. To me money is life. Now I am not saying I will sell my soul for it, but it does play a big part in how I see my life headed forward. I do say follow your dream and money will come. Never stress over money to the point that it kills you. Never stress over money to the point you sell out your own kind or the ones you love the most. Always let your purpose be the reason you achieve great amounts of wealth. No matter what you do just make sure it is something you love to do for the money.

Regrets

Don’t let time pass you by or any other hour. Every minute is valuable and you have to know exactly how important every second is to the mission.  Becoming someone with regrets means you wasted a lot of years doing nothing. You were someone who said, “Oh I will do this tomorrow, next week, or when the opportunity is right”. That’s not living at all. That’s what I call dead procrastination.

Foolery behind you

It’s time to leave the foolery behind you and work your magic with your passion. Last week people have died indulging in the foolery. They let the streets or worse situations get to them. If you are the type to let every situation get the best of you then it is time for a change. If you want a dollar you can’t be the same as everyone else and when I say dollar, I mean a huge amount. The type of amount you need everyone in your family to count it all. Stop playing and leave that foolery behind you. It’s time to get a dollar, not another dead problem/partner

Work your Magic

In order to get the amount of money you have always dreamed of, you have no choice but to work you magic. Let go of that comfortable blanket you are always use to and get a new one. Let go of the people who are always there to protect you when you get a baby bruise. Learn how to get up and make your own decisions. We need more leaders, not anymore followers. We can’t keep dodging failures, baby that come with the dream! Time to work that magic and get everything you have always dreamed of. It’s not hard but it isn’t easy. Stop playing and make it breezy!

Don’t Make Cense Sunday’s: Scrolling your life away

“Too much time is spent scrolling your life away on social media sites.”- Justin A. Starks

Since my space and other various social networks was invented, we have been giving too much of our precious time, giving away our time. These social media platforms are making us react in a while different fashion. Most of us are now hiding our true identity just to impress the public. It’s like going viral is all we care about inside the community. We sing, dance, fight, and even commit murders all over these social websites. It’s a shame how many individuals I see just want to become rappers thinking it will gain them instant fam, women, and infinite wealth. I don’t think social media is helping the community but instead harming the community.

Bye Bye, Time

Americans spend on average a total of 2 hours on social media a day. Let’s say you aren’t promoting a business for monetary reasons. Let’s just say you are scrolling down your time and posting pointless selfies. This means you are just a consumer to a world full of marketers and producers. These marketers spend billions of dollars on ads a year just to control your brain waves and behavior. In fact, you are just another individual who doesn’t know what to do with your own time so social media gives you something to do. By the way, those two hours in a lifetime equals up to 5 years in 4 months in a single lifetime. Wow! That’s bonkers!

Spend more time building

Just imagine everything you ever wanted going down the drain because of this wild urge to constantly feed your social media addiction. Some claim they could get off at any giving time and do something else, but let’s be truthful and understand that is a lie. We have to start capitalizing off of our time spent on social media and build a brand.

Don’t be another follower

Everyday you wake up the first thing you do is grab your phone and scroll your morning away. Let’s say you woke up and put that same energy towards a dream of yours. Woke up early to do a workout and read some pages out of that book you always wanted to accomplish. Woke up before work and mowed the yard your wife has been nagging to you about all week. Just something else instead of tumbling time down these timeless social media websites.

The Catch

What’s the catch for this blog you ask? It’s all about using your time wisely. It doesn’t make any sense to sit around and scroll your life away. That time could be used investing in what you love! Do something you love and share your tactics with the world. Just don’t be another user, be someone with substance that could possibly turn the world into a better place. A better place with your vision leading the way. Don’t let someone else vision control your life.

Don’t Make Cense Sunday’s: Level Up (MegaMan Edition)

"Nobody to blame but yourself if you don't level up" – Section8Investor

Level Up !

In order to live the life you always dreamed of you have to level up (boss up). Doing the same thing and living amongst the same individuals who care nothing about your outcome or aspirations is going to keep you down and depressed all of the time. It really makes no Cense to stick around and become the dummy of the century. Also, it doesn't make any Cense to let others close to you bring you down. You say they are your friends but they only knock you down every time you come up with a great idea. How is that any good for you and your future self? It isn't and it's time to level up and do exactly what you were brought into this World to do and that's to lead and become better you ever imagined. Change your circle, sacrifice your time, and work harder than ever before. Never be so worried about what others say that it brings you down. Never be so caught up in people (what they're doing) that it uses all of your energy and keeps you unfocused.

Going all the way in !

I like the saying from legendary Grant Cardone, which is called The 10X rule. Off the back we know 10 x 10 comes out to be 100. This number is way greater than attempting to do it 1X and going back to the original number, which is 1! You maybe the only who believe in your vision but if you all in 10X you will succeed every rip of the way. You will start unlocking new doors for yourself and find yourself meeting/teaching people all over the world. Everyone isn't meant to go where you are going, so it's imperative that you stay on the road and take those who are serious about your passion just as you are and leave the snakes in the old blender on the counter back home in the slums.

No Setbacks !

Remember, on any road you will never be applauded by the things you didn't pursue but you will be when you step closer and closer to success. It is completely up to you to keep your head held high, buckle all the way down, and level the f*ck up! Stop feeling sorry for yourself and leaving your dreams on the table because the majority want accept you with open arms. It's time to excel and hit the gas. Time to level up and show the world but more important to show that face in the mirror. It doesn't make cense not to level up and take the chances needed to ensure greatness!

Section8BookReiew: Chuck Collins (99 to 1)

"Money doesn't bring happiness, said the lowest class of 99" – Section8Investor

This book was different. It really changed my view on how I see things. How I see things in the hood, my bad, lower class community. Chuck Collins really broke it down to why the economy needs to serve the whole 100 percent and not just the top wealthy 1 percent. He also gave great key points on how it should happen through investing, tax fluctuation, and opposing that the working class be presented with better opportunities. It gave great insight on how money should be flowing throughout the economy and how the bottom 99% could benefit.

Throughout this book it was suggested that majority of the 1 percent were down to see changes (65%) but the others said, "Hell No".

Inner Reflection

Coming from the lowest of the lowest of the 99% I had to disagree with some of the teaching brought fourth from Mr. Chuck Collins. Me being from the lowest of the 99 percent I have seen firsthand how individuals would rather let the government take care of them than to wake up and put the most efforts in their goals and aspirations. The government actually makes more of us lazy from the bottom percentile because now we figure we don't have to work or have set goals, which is sad because we think we are getting over on "The Man" if I do say so. Welfare, childcare assistance programs (Head-start), Medicaid, HUD Housing, EBT, & etc are majority of the reasons the poor communities think it's okay to just sit around. I also thought growing up that these programs are meant to take ownership of our minds and control our moves, which I am right to some degree.

"If we don't understand the value of money and how it is suppose to work these programs will continue to consume us and destroy our communities. We will never have a chance of getting ahead and potentially be apart of the 1 percent." – Section8StrategicPlanning

Affirmative Action & Finances

In the book 99 to 1, Collins also spoke about raising the minimum wage for the American workers. I agree and disagree with this method. Majority of us in the bottom 99% don't understand the value of money so we intend to overspend. That reason alone will always leave us broker than before and thinking the answer is a raise and working two jobs, giving up all your time and energy to someone else's company. If giving a raise was the case we would still make very bad decisions with our wealth instead of investing and saving. I truly understand why those wealthy individuals who are apart of the 1% think creating jobs and funding new opportunities for the 99% think they have done enough. We as the 99% can't keep relying on the government or these higher officials to hold our hands. We have to learn, build, & create better communities for ourselves.

3 Needed Improvements amongst the 99%

1.) Wake Up the Living Poor

I do agree when Collins mentioned we need to wake and stop letting others control our emotions and wealth. Majority of us are sleep and that really needs to change. Just as the different parties fight for our rights to vote we need to fight for our freedom to be apart of economic decisions before they just sprout out of nowhere never fully understanding why. We need to understand how the economy works against us and around us. 99 is always greater to 1

2.) The Government isn't Superman

Sure the programs I mentioned above are great but that only teaches us how to be lazy and depend on the government. Like mentioned above, I watched so many people think they are getting over on the government by doing so. They actually thought getting over on government was the way of us but boy is the government laughing at the ignorant.

3.) Creating Valuable Opportunities

We need to start creating new jobs and taking finances more serious. We lack an education on wealth and that's a problem among the 99 percent. We spend way more than we make and think it's okay because we can easily work another 40 hours and struggle, which is mind blowing to someone like myself. This is why investing, real estate, and building your own business/platform is widely important, which was also stated by Mr. Collins throughout his book (99 to 1).

Proper Salute

This book was well written and Collins did have great meaning behind his teachings. He provided many great ideas and expressed we have to come together as a whole and not be divided because wealth separately equally could potentially help us all. There are many people out in the world willing to help but the way laws and politicians are set up that challenge will be hard. Hope isn't enough we have to start taking action and Collins did express that intensively throughout this Marvelous Book. I would advise this be added to anyone's library at any moment.

Switching Sections: “The Net Worth from Paycheck Mind Adjustment”

“Pay check to paycheck; leads to infinite death, let's build that Net Worth.” – Section8Investor

In my last blog, “Never knew the Difference: Income vs. Net worth” I preached the difference between Net Worth and Income and how important it is for you to understand. In this blog I will preach the meaning of building your net worth with better understanding and real life examples. Hopefully, I could persuade you to be on the road of awesomeness, when it comes to you and your finances.

Net Worth, Less Work

Building your Net worth give you the authority to do as you please and not stress as much. Building your net worth will allow you to open many doors for you and your family that are beyond measures. By allowing your net worth to grow you are allowing your brain to signal better brain frequencies, when it comes to creating and owning. A paycheck to paycheck mentality will only have the mindset of next Friday (Payday), or that check that comes in at the end of the month.

When switching from the paycheck mentality you are constantly developing, excelling, and using your brain to find better opportunities for growth. You now understand you are not entitled to go to a job you hate and work until you are 78 years old, from your death bed. You understand the difference of working for money and money working for you. It is better to understand this life value before it is too late. Seriously, best believe if they could work your useless body from the grave, they would because they know you will never understand this vital concept.

Increasing Thy Net worth

There are many wonderful ideas out in this world to significantly increase your net worth. It all starts with you! Your capabilities to strategically plan your next money move. In order to start increasing your wealth you have to eliminate debt off of your list. I firmly believe taking care of your debt is a number 1 factor when trying to build wealth.

“Ex. Tommy makes a 100,000 a year. Tommy likes going out and living lavishly. Tommy spends 89,000 a year on vacations, women, and boats. Tommy now has no source of income because he was laid off from his job. Tommy now has no money and is 300,000 in debt. He also has no capital or real value assets. Tommy is flat broke to square one.”

If tommy followed these simple life secrets of paying debt, living frugal, saving, and investing, – he would be way ahead of the game some years ago. This is why paying debt and not getting sunk in by the impression of impressing people who barely like you is important.

The Secret Stash

One starting point on your way to a bigger and better Net worth is having that “secret stash”. Some call it the emergency fund, life savings, or etc. My best advice for the secret stash is simple, “Out of mind, out of sight”. This allows your money to be debited into your secret account without looking, before you take anything out of your weekly check.

Ex. “Jacob has been making 30,000 a year working for the local school. Jacob is worried the school will have another job layoff so he thinks of great ways to end his spending habits and saving more money. Jacob has an idea and a bright future. Jacob open a “Secret Stash Account and puts away just 10 percent of his income every paycheck. He did so for 15 years passing his income and living stress free. Good to know, the job lay off never came and Jacob was now investing and purchasing his first home.”

Spending less

One who is living on less than they possibly earn is a “Frugal One”. Being frugal is a great way to build your Net Worth. Keep in mind all your spending buddies will talk down on your practices and try to drag in living overly spending hell. Be cautious and stay true to yourself. If you can’t go out because you are on a budget, then absolutely don’t do it. Remember, a frugal lifestyle doesn’t have to last long.

Best Wishes

In order to make a change from your environment when it comes to money you have to adventure out. All advice isn’t good advice, even if it comes from the ones you love and trust. You have to become self – educated and entitled to learning the game and growing. Your Future self will thank you if you stay down. Build your net worth and relax because your stress levels will decrease when you know you money is working in your sleep.

Question: Is your Net Worth important to you? Do you even care about your finances and having full control of your life?

Don’t Make “Cense” Sunday’s: 20 Something

“You’re only 20-29 once; make sure the years are accounted for” – Section8Investor

Right now in your 20’s you have an advantage. You have the advantage of coming up with the million dollar idea. You have the advantage of investing in those dreams and watching it all grow before your eyes.

In your 20’s you have to understand there is no times for games. Well, maybe a couple games but honestly not any. These are the time you fail and fail hard! These are the times you find yourself as a human being and go all out ballistic with your goals. Many others will down play and hate on your vision but don’t let those 30, 40, and even 80 year old life regretting individuals get to you. Follow those who you want to become one day.

In these roaring 20’s you have to build your platform. You have to solely become committed and know this is what you want from yourself. Some may not know what that is at such a young age but I be damned if you don’t find out what that is before it’s 30 to late. Try many things out but don’t get caught doing so when you find out that passion. Stick with it and rise to the top of your expectations, not others.

These dreams, goals, and aspirations should be the things you would die for. Knowing you whole heartedly would sacrifice everything just to make this shit happen no matter what goes down. No other human being on this Earth should be the reason you give up and stop short of your goals. Every one has 1 set of 20’s. Stay down until you come up and go after those damn dreams! Now is the time! It doesn’t make Cense not too.

Question: Do you have regrets and wish you could’ve took a different approach in your 20’s? Do you have a game plan for your 20’s? Please, share and explain. I am all ears!

The Bigger Picture: Staying Committed

“People won’t respect you, you have to work harder and earn it”- Section8Investor

Through out life you will understand your goals are your goals. The bigger context of your vision will not be seen or respected by others. Friends, families, and spouses will not even understand why you do the things you do. People tend to only notice the movement until you successful. They don’t like to hear the hard work it took or the many nights you sacrificed just to see it happen.

Stay on The Tracks

Don’t let others get to you. It may seem hard and like nobody care but there feelings shouldn’t be the reason you stop. Focus on your goal and keep up the great work. If you listen to so many people about what you want to do; you will even drop out the race and think your vision isn’t worth the menu.

Knowing Truly Who You Are

With all the different expectations people may have for you it is important you stay true to who you are. It doesn’t matter if it is your wife, girlfriend, or best friend. If they don’t even respect your mind and vision it is many more people in the world, you will not be lonely forever. I am serious when I say that. By having values as a man and having aspirations that drives you it is essential you stay committed and not lose focus because someone says it’s stupid.

Why Your Vision Is Important

We all get 24 hours in a day. Your vision is what adds value to people lives around the globe. You never know your true ability if you quit to early. Each and everyone has distinct charactics about themselves. It doesn’t matter your past or where you been. It only matter about what you are doing now to make a change and live the life you always visioned. Stick to your script because the bigger picture is approaching.

Question: Do you sometimes feel as if others don’t respect your grind? Are you living towards your own expectations or are others a bigger influence?

Inspirational Balance within Corporate America

Introduction

Everyday I wake up, I ask myself, “how could I become a better servant towards others”. I take out my list and get to thinking, well better yet I brainstorm. I think about other individuals for whom I work with problems and ask my brain, “how could I be of assistance”? How could I impact others to keep going? How could I motivate them to do better, by just caring about their problems and helping resolve their issues. During the work day, I normally ask my subordinates, “how are they doing”? Often at times I stop them in the middle of the hard working day to ask them about their families, duties, and weekend. This was a great way for me to know my coworkers better and spend a little one on one personal time together, getting to know them. This led the productivity at work to sky rocket. I wasn’t a strategic plan genius but I just always seemed to have cared for my people. When you show others you care for them and are willing to listen to there problems, – that builds trust. You have now opened other great doors for your work orginanztion. This is how you connect with individuals and they also get a chance to figure out who you truly are as a person.

Why you shouldn’t hide in your Office

Sure, I get it! We all have work to do and have to put the mission first. Still, sinking in your office all day isn’t going to make you a great inspirational leader. Instead, it could kill morale as you just always delegate orders and don’t seem to care how others are doing. As men we sometimes get side tracked and gain tunnel vision because we have so much pride in our own success, which could better harm you, than it could help. Meanwhile, we put others off and seem to don’t care of our workers or coworkers because we plow our faces in a computer screen until the work day is over. Coming from behind that small/medium/large desk top and getting to know who works for you could help you and your company grow. It shows you have a heart and are willing to put your people first.

Share great memories

I remember when my coworker told me a while back his wife loved that fancy restaurant, called papitos, but they rarely went because they couldn’t afford it. Well, one night after a long week of work, I offered him and his wife to a night out at the restaurant, that they loved so much, boy was he estatic. This allowed me to get to understand my coworker and build a new trust within him and also his wife. This memory lasted a lifetime. By sharing such a great memory it showed that it wasn’t all just hard work, rusty hand, and no days off. This allowed me to understand who he was as a Humam Being. Boy was he forever grateful!

Put yourself 2nd

Now when I say, “put yourself second”, I don’t mean always. To help others and be of great inspiration you have to at times throw your pride behind you and think from their perspective. This type of learning experience could help you and that person you are helping. Everybody have hopes and dreams and need some type of help. Putting your traits to the side for a split second while helping someone reach their full potential is always one of great patience and character.

Conclusion

These are all some great ways you could build your work morale for the better. Enganging with the people who work hard in your company is always a great way to show them you care. Putting the people first is always number 1 in my playbook, especially if they make you millions of dollars. I don’t care if I am just a worker at McDonald’s, I will always make my way to show others they matter and are apart of a healthy team.

Question: How do you engage with your coworkers? What are some techniques you use to motivate others?

Red Sirens, Blue Lights !

Red sirens, blue lights
Who could put all that focus on us at night?

Red sirens, blue lights

Who is that watching me with that Glock 40 hugged tight?

Red sirens, blue lights

Why am I depicted by my color but not the love of my heart?

Red sirens, blue lights

Can you help me and my people through the night?

Red sirens, blue lights

Why do you hate me for I am not white?

Why do you judge us and never lived my life?

Why do you come into my territories with intentions to vandelize my rights?

I know its not right; Red sirens, Blue lights

Oh yeah, Debt Baby

“A fool and its money will always part ways.”- Richest Man In Babylon (George S. Clason)

Paying off debt could be a stressful challenge, but very rewarding. It’s not widely talked about and it makes millions of people feel uncomfortable. Seeing how this affected my community, house hold, and extended family as a whole has impacted me to really get rid of my debt and stay out of the red zone completely. One highly suggested way to get your finances back in order is by paying off that debt and changing your behavior on “Money”. It’s time to not be a fool any longer!

1. Paying more than the recommended!

  • Always try your best to pay more than what your lender suggest you pay. Remember, these lender companies are not your friends at all, their best “interest” is in themselves. If possible they would love to have you indebted for life. Break those debt shackles and get that debt contained.

2. Setting up automatic payments!

  • By setting up automatic payments you are doing yourself and future-self a huge favor. This way you make your payments in a fashionably manner and in some cases they reduce your interest percentage when setting up auto-payments. That’s what I call pure amazing!

3. Debt Snowball/Avalanche! (Dave Ramsey)

  • These are two great to get rid of debt completely. The debt snowball is when you pay the lowest debt/interest rate first then work your way up the ladder with the higher amount/interest rates. This way may be more appealing to people with large amounts of debt.
  • The debt avalanche is the completely opposite but my absolute favorite amongst the two. It’s when you devour the highest debt/interest rate first then work your way down the ladder. With this method over the long haul you will save more money and beat out interest, which is always a great deal.
  • No matter which one you chose to implement in your debt plot, these are two great ways to eliminate debt.

Times will get hard and you will have frustration along the way of getting your debt knocked out. Staying the course is crucial to your financial future. One day you will wake up and be on your last payment. Remember, the key isn’t to pay your debts and tackle more debts. It’s to get rid of your debt completely and build better Financial Literacy within yourself and family generations too come.

Question: Do you find yourself angered with debt? What are some ways you handle debt? Please share!
